Medical Spanish Programs 

We believe that is extremely important not only to learn Medical Spanish in a Spanish-speaking environment – but also to apply your Spanish in a very practical environment. This will both reinforce your learning, and also allow the real application of your new knowledge.

The school has two main options for it Medical Spanish options

A: Learn Medical Spanish combined with observing hospital rounds in Spanish

B:  Learn Medical Spanish and use your Spanish by volunteering at paediatric Neurological Rehabilitation Centre.

Option A: Medical Spanish with Hospital

Spanish for Doctors: A 3-week Spanish Course (either on a one to one – or a small class of 2 to 6 students) focused particularly on vocabulary for doctors. During the last week of classes, the students will participate in periodic rotations in the hospital “Rodríguez Zambrano” in Manta accompanied by a medical resident.

Option B; Medical Spanish and Volunteer at a Paediatric Neurological Rehabilitation Centre

Spanish for Doctors or Medical health professions. This is a one on one personalised course taking the basis of our medical Spanish course and applying it to you field as a healthcare professional. The courses are a minimum of 2 weeks, and a maximum of 12 weeks. Learn Medical Spanish in the morning and in the afternoon apply this as you volunteer at “RENEUP” a nationally recognised institution that is dedicated to the prevention and alleviation of infantile development disorders as well as neurological cognitive and sensory disorders.
